The thought-provoking work of mograph artist Chris Finn motivated us to round up some of our favorite inspirational After Effects videos.

If you don’t know who Anonymous is, don’t worry… you’re not alone. No one really knows who the group is. We just know that they’re a “hackitvist” group that guards the morality of the internet. Some say they are activists. Some say they’re heroes. Some even say they’re terrorists. But in the end, they don’t discriminate when it comes to picking the targets of their ire. From Scientology to corrupt governments, they concentrate their cyber-attacks on any organization or individual that runs contrary to the moral standards they stand behind.

Savannah College of Art & Design major Chris Finn decided to tackle this subject head on for his final project in the undergraduate degree program of Motion Media Design. What he turned in was a beautifully crafted piece of animation and filmmaking.

Recently, Chris sat down with Motionographer.com to answer a few questions regarding the project and to give a little behind-the-scenes look at how he crafted his short film.

After watching Finn’s video, we were inspired to find some of our favorite motion graphic pieces from around the web that utilize After Effects in some way. Prepare yourself to be visually stimulated!
