Animation curves are key to creating natural movements in After Effects.
There are a number of things you can do to give your animations a life-like feeling in After Effects. But perhaps the most helpful way to take your animations to the next level is to use animation curves.
By manipulating an animation curve you will have greater control over the speed and value of your objects position, scale, and anything else that can be key-framed. In the following tutorial by School of Motion we will take a look at how to use animation curves in After Effects.
The tutorial covers:
- Speed Graphs
- Value Graphs
- Spacial vs. Temporal Interpolation
